i'm Drissy (the host) :3 minor, nonbinary and cryptogenic system! I prefer they/them pronouns and am the one fronting at all times- neither of my other headmates choose to front (sometimes we refer to ourselves in plural, sometimes drissy will remain in singular) :P

i loveee drawing, watercolor painting, 90s-2000s technology, fashion and history; my system experiences anemoia, which is a nostalgia for a time you don't know. while Drissy wasn't conscience for most of the 2000s, they have some pretty defined memories of the earlier years of the internet.

my headmates (or alters) are known as amora (she/he) and richard (aka pissypants by one of my friends- he/they pronouns). amora and i both really love princesses, and richard's name comes from dick grayson of dc! (ill make their pages sooner or later...) if you would like to learn more about plurality i highly reccomend pluralpedia!

the background on the home page is the Private Oasis realm created in August of 2018 by the Royale High Development team to prevent data issues and load items in faster before the New Earth update. drissy joined RH when this realm was available during the Guest era of Roblox... they miss it a lot honestly, compared to today's extremely polished and arguably 'corporate' campus 4. it's hollow, with a lot of the charm missing that older RH realms captured.

a lot of what we mean by that is its 'clean' appeal. its meant to bring in audiences, look nice. the older versions of royale high are hand-made by a single person at home with no audience joining her livestreams, and simply a want to make something. campus 4 is supposed to drag in money, make thousands off of premium payouts, diamond purchases and gamepass sales.

we really don't like that- rose tinted glasse be damned. we're willing to admit that yes, there exists some bias for older realms that we poured hours into years ago but again. its corporate, it feels hollow. its missing the soul and players that old royale high had. the lively roleplays happening around every corner, classes where people fought over seats and girls arguing over boys (who, a lot of the time, were other girls just pretending for fun or for new roleplay experiences).

take what was good of that time and turn it into a personal art project; this neocities. one of those pieces you pour hours over to make just-so, fine tune details and press undo a million times or scrub an eraser across it so hard the paper tears. that's human, that has soul. it's not looking for a dime from someone else, just a soul to listen and enjoy.

regardless of if you were playing roblox at the time, enjoyed royale high or remotely like the game, we hope you like this neocities and everything we hope to offer at Royale High. ♡

moving forward, i (drissy) really want to add these pages to the site;

• some kind of webisodes portal... i've long wanted to produce a roleplay series, edited and scripted by me-- maybe this is a good time to start?
• a wiki for my ocs and aus sometime- a way to refer it to people since i go on talking about the nexus (a concept explaining multiverses and crossovers) and sometimes it gets really tangled... a clean way to explain it would be helpful. i'm just hesitant. (see my art page for details)
• finishing up the different plans i made for different rooms' (pages) aesthetics
