i love doing art... sometimes its just fun to sit down, get a photo and start drawing (as a lot of artists can relate to!!)

i'm mostly reluctant to share my art online. . . i'm weary of AI scrapers, since Ao3's scraping, people framing the inability to do art as an excuse (it's a learned skill. you're not good at art overnight, ask any artist! also, this sounds like a scapegoat: "i just can't do it!!!") and people ripping it "just because."

it's the same reason i'm hesitant to share my fanfiction; because once its online, its no longer my own but can be used by someone else to make something for good or bad, stolen and renamed to profit or rip off my originality and creativity. i know that robots.txt is there... but sometimes it doesn't feel like enough. i wish there was a better option- especially for Neocities, where we don't 'own' our site, this is just a service to host it.

regardless.. below is some of my newer pieces done between now (october 2025) and more/less likely 2024!
